You do not have to give us any personal information in order to use most of this website. However, if you wish to take advantage of some of the more personalised services that we make available, or apply to join the APA, you will need to provide certain information.

Information collection and use

The Association of Practising Accountants (APA) is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We do not sell, share, or transfer this information, except as set out in this statement. We use your information to improve our marketing and for administration. If necessary, we may pass your information between our members. Our members and their offices are listed on this website and the list is updated as appropriate. We may employ the services of a third party to help us in certain areas, such as website hosting. In some cases that third party may receive your information. However, at all times the APA will control and be responsible for the use of your information.

Personal information is generally collected for the following purposes:

  • so we can deliver requested materials or information
  • if you apply to work or train with an APA member firm

Careers and job applications

If you want to apply for a graduate training contract or the AAT training scheme at one of the APA member firms, you will be directed through links in the Graduate area of the APA website directly to the member firm who you wish to contact. You will then be guided through the application process on the actual member firm’s website.

Cookies

On 26th May 2011, new legislation was introduced on the use of cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user's hard drive containing information about the user.

We use Google Analytics, a popular web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies to help us to analyse how users use the site.
